خلاصه داستان: مخلوقات ، مهيا شدند از خون گرگ . چيزى كه ميتواند بكشد و سريع حركت كند و در آسمان نگاه كند به دنبال ماه كامل . اينها پوست اندازانند(Skinwalkers) .آنها عاشق گوشت انسان ها و تشنه به خونشان هستند.پيشگويى ميگويد ماه كامل همه آنها را بيدار ميكند و ماه يك اصول است . در تولد 13 سالگى او ، تيموتى، يك دو رگه زمانى ميرسد كه او تغيير ميكند .او از زمان تولدش محفئظ گشت توسط اطرافيانش؛چون آنها از قدرتش باخبر بوده و ميدانستند كه آن قدرت را داراست . او تنها قدرتش را داشت تا سرنوشت خانواده مهربانش را كنترل كند. يك هديه به يك شخص ممكن است جان ديگران را به خطر اندازد.و حالا در شب سوم ماه كامل ؛ نبردي خروشان براي حفظ بخشش تيموتى در حال وقوع است .آنها دو گروه از مبارزانند : 1) كسانى كه ميخواهند تلسم از بين رود و به زندگي عادى خود برگردنند .(نيمه انسانها) 2)كسانى كه ميخواهند خونخوار بمانند ؛ در خونريزى شاد باشند ؛ استقلال داشته و تا ابد زنده باشند تا خوي حيواني خود را حفظ كنند .(نيمه گرگها) حال آنها دست به هر كاري ميزنند تا خود را حفظ كنند . پس هر دو گروه به دنبال پسرك (تيموتي) به راه مى افتند.
در صحنه اي ورك(Varek) ميگويد : من انسان نيستم ، من چيزي بهتر از آنم .
و در زير نور كامل ماه چالهايه كنده شده از دشمني آماده برايه دريافت جسد .
برادر در برابر برادر ، عاشق در برابر عاشق و نيكان در برابر شياطين .
